About KW Jump Rope
KW Jump Rope is a recreational and competitive jump rope team based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. It was founded in 2023 by former jump rope athletes Matt Delorey, Carly Simpson, and Chris Brown, along with Matt’s partner and long-time jump rope administrator, Tim Segato.

Tim has volunteered with the Ontario Rope Skipping Organization and various teams within Ontario since 2007, when he started his volunteer journey as a judge. Currently in addition to his position as Team Manager for KW Jump Rope, Tim is also the Treasurer of the Ontario Rope Skipping Organization, a member of the Ontario and National Tournament Committees and is the Scoring lead for Ontario Rope Skipping.

01. The Community
There is no sport quite like jump rope! Everyone is always willing to teach each other skills. You’ll be competing against each other one minute and sharing skills with each other the next.
02. The Family
For us, jump rope is a family affair. Coach, Matt and Team Manager, Tim are married. Coaches Chris and Carly met through the sport of jump rope and their daughter is at every practice, show and competition!
03. The Travel
Jump rope has taken us around the world. Getting to compete and perform on a global stage is one of the most incredible experiences!
04. The Skills
The possibilities are endless in the sport of jump rope and athletes continue to push the limits each year!
